Blue Lion Art Studio began as a personal obsession. Our founder, captivated by the way resin could hold light and colour in suspension, started experimenting in a small Bangalore studio — pouring, failing, learning, and eventually creating pieces of genuine beauty.

How It's Made
The Craft of Resin Art
Creating a resin artwork is a slow, deliberate process — part science, part intuition. Here is how each piece comes to life in our studio.
Concept & Colour
Every piece begins with a vision — a mood, a palette, a feeling. We sketch compositions and mix test pigments until the colour story feels exactly right.
Preparing the Surface
Whether it's a wood panel, live-edge slab, or custom mould, the surface is sanded, sealed, and levelled with precision. The foundation determines everything.
The Pour
Resin is mixed, tinted, and poured in deliberate layers. Pigments are guided with heat and movement — a meditative process where control and surrender meet.
Curing & Refinement
Each layer cures for 24–48 hours before the next is added. This patience creates the extraordinary depth that makes resin art so captivating.
Finishing & Polish
The final piece is sanded through progressive grits and polished to a glass-like clarity — or left with a satin finish for a more organic feel.
Ready for Its Home
Each artwork is inspected, photographed, and carefully packaged. It leaves our studio ready to become part of your story.

Experience
Our workshops are designed for everyone — from complete beginners to practising artists. In a relaxed, guided setting, you'll learn the fundamentals of resin art: how to mix, pour, and manipulate this extraordinary material to create something uniquely your own.
Sessions cover ocean art, geode techniques, texture painting, and more. All materials are provided. You leave with a finished artwork and the confidence to keep creating.
